I don’t know but Japanese people cook lots of Chinese food, but maybe how we cook is Japanized. Needs only eggs and fake crab, such a cost-effective and satisfying dish!
Ingredients
4~5 PERSON
- 4~5 eggs
- 1/2 fake crab pack
- Sauce:
- 1 cup water
- 2 TBS shoyu
- 1 TBS white vinegar
- 2 TBS sugar
- 1 TBS potato starch or tapioca flour
Directions
- Mix all the eggs.
- Tear/chop fake crab into small pieces, add them to the egg, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the pan, add 1/2 of #2, stir a bit, then add the rest, then stir and shape in circle.
- When the eggs are 80% cooked, then put them on the plate.
- Sauce! Mix all the Sauce ingredients and put into the same pan.
- Mix well with chopsticks until thickened.
- Put the sauce on the egg and ta-da!
tips
This is just sooooo yummy. and easy!
I usually use tapioca flour to add some thickness cause it’s good for Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) as well and cheaper than potato starch. Tapioca flour is available at Asian Grocery or if you prefer online, Amazon or Weee!
