Welcome to my humble little recipe site! Here I share everyday Japanese(-ish) home cooking recipes that anyone can make. No worries — I’m not a chef, just someone living in the U.S. where is far from home and missing Japanese food so much. I started this blog so my husband and three kids could recreate the dishes I make, even when I’m not in the kitchen!
A heads up: all recipes use American measurements and ingredients that are easy to find in the US, so they may not be a 100% authentic recreation of Japanese home cooking… but if you’re living in the US and craving a taste of Japanese home food, this is the place for you!
