A gyudon recipe with an easy homemade sauce! The onions soak up all the flavor and turn melt-in-your-mouth tender — absolutely irresistible. ♪ It just might bring back memories of Yoshinoya beef bowls from back in Japan✨
Ingredients
4~5 PERSON
- 1.5 lbs Shaved Beef Steak
- 1 Onion
- Soup
- 2 TBS Sake or White Wine
- 2 TBS Shoyu (soy sauce)
- 2 TBS Mirin
- 1 TBS Sugar
- 1.5 cup water
- 1 tsp Ginger tube
- eat with rice!
Directions
- Cut the onions into wedges.
- Add to a pot with the soup broth and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the onions are tender.
- Add the beef, breaking apart any pieces as you go. Skim off any foam, then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Serve over steamed rice and enjoy! 🎉

This recipe is a bit soupy version cause I love it! Big flavor without the fuss!!
