Ingredients

- 4 pieces of salmon
- salt
Directions
- Sear the salmon: Place the frozen salmon fillets directly in a frying pan and cook over medium heat.
- Steam: Pour 2 tablespoons sake around the salmon, cover with a lid, and steam over low heat.
- Flip and season: Once the surface of the salmon turns white/opaque, flip it over, remove the lid, and season with 1 teaspoons salt. Sear over medium heat.
- Finish: Cook for about 2 minutes until nicely browned — and it’s done! Eat with rice, or make onigiri with it!

When I don’t have time I just toss it in the rice cooker and cook with rice and it tastes amazing too!
